Bible Reading in 2021

The new year is always a good time to encourage one another in our Bible reading. We as a church are encouraging each other to read through the New Testament in 2021.

Did you know that you can read through the New Testament by reading one chapter a day, five days a week? That would still allow you to have two days a week where you can spend some time reflecting on what you have read during the week.

The Navigators, a Christian organization that focuses on discipleship has released a reading program through the New Testament. It is called the 5x5x5 Bible Reading Plan. There are paper copies of this plan at church. You can fold this sheet in half and keep it in your Bible. Here is a link to the Bible reading plan: https://www.navigators.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/navtool-5x5x5.pdf

One of the features of this plan that I appreciate is that the Navigators suggest five ways you can dig deeper into your Bible reading. In addition, I am also going to stay late on two Sundays per month after the service for any who would like to talk & ask questions about what they had been reading in the Bible reading plan.

I pray the Lord would use the Bible reading plan to encourage us for his glory.
